Some Checks Have Failed or Are Not Yet Complete
Not All Tests Have Passed
This package was rejected on 06 Mar 2021. The reviewer chocolatey-ops has listed the following reason(s):
Meteor is an ultra-simple environment for building modern web
applications.
With Meteor you write apps:
- in modern JavaScript
- that send data over the wire, rather than HTML
- using your choice of popular open-source libraries
> As with the previous Meteor installer, Meteor will be installed into %LocalAppData%\.meteor
, which also serves as a global cache for all Meteor packages. Re-installing or uninstalling Meteor will automatically purge this directory.

meteor has passed automated validation. It may have or may still fail other checks like testing (verification).
NOTE: No required changes that the validator checks have been flagged! It is appreciated if you fix other items, but only Requirements will hold up a package version from approval. A human review could still turn up issues a computer may not easily find.
Notes
Notes typically flag things for both you and the reviewer to go over. Sometimes this is the use of things that may or may not be necessary given the constraints of what you are trying to do and/or are harder for automation to flag for other reasons. Items found in Notes might be Requirements depending on the context. A package version can be approved without addressing Note comments.

meteor has failed automated testing.
This is not the only check that is performed so check the package page to ensure a 'Ready' status.
Please visit https://gist.github.com/969ac9f70a4ec439c505a2c44aa6bad3 for details.
The package status will be changed and will be waiting on your next actions.

Hello, can you help me understand why the verification test keeps failing? I cannot find the reason from here https://gist.github.com/969ac9f70a4ec439c505a2c44aa6bad3.
Our current good version, Meteor 0.0.5, is the same as this one. The only thing that changed from a version to another is one checksum that we added to our code. It is basically one line of code and that shouldn't, in any way, affect the tests.
We really need to make this new installer version available as soon as possible.
flcdrg (reviewer) on 23 Jan 2021 04:24:45 +00:00:
It looks like the unzipping took a really long time for some reason. I'm going to run the tests again to see if it was just a one off.
Auto Verification Change - Verification tests have been set to rerun.

It failed again. was it because of the same reason?
If yes I will try to look into this... But it's super odd for sure :(
flcdrg (reviewer) on 30 Jan 2021 04:33:42 +00:00:
Same error. Can you try testing with a local copy of the Chocolatey test environment and see if there's any other issues besides it taking a long time.

We've found meteor v0.0.11 in a submitted status and waiting for your next actions. It has had no updates for 20 or more days since a reviewer has asked for corrections. Please note that if there is no response or fix of the package within 15 days of this message, this package version will automatically be closed (rejected) due to being stale.
Take action:
If your package is failing automated testing, you can use the chocolatey test environment to manually run the verification and determine what may need to be fixed.
Note: We don't like to see packages automatically rejected. It doesn't mean that we don't value your contributions, just that we can not continue to hold packages versions in a waiting status that have possibly been abandoned. If you don't believe you will be able to fix up this version of the package within 15 days, we strongly urge you to log in to the site and respond to the review comments until you are able to.
chocolatey-ops (reviewer) on 06 Mar 2021 04:39:48 +00:00:
Unfortunately there has not been progress to move meteor v0.0.11 towards an approved status within 15 days after the last review message, so we need to close (reject) the package version at this time. If you want to pick this version up and move it towards approval in the future, use the contact site admins link on the package page and we can move it back into a submitted status so you can submit updates.
Status Change - Changed status of package from 'submitted' to 'rejected'.
